COLLEGE STARS
It's about when Rosie started her English course at uni' in London . That first term! What a time she and man-mad Jackie had with the beautiful ice-queen, Eveline, and two chemistry students, Les and Russell. Balls, discos, dinners, archeological digs, drama club etcetera, etcetera. In addition her English Department was full of politicking because the staff had been ordered by the Principal of the College to elect a new Head Professor from one of their number. Everything got down and dirty as the existing Head tried to get his yes-man elected using tactics straight out of Machiavelli's 'The Prince' (Rosemary had to read that book for A-level English). But they all got through that incredible first Michaelmas Term... somehow...

FAMILY LIFE
In this book Rosie has just graduated from uni' with her BA in English (just a poor third unfortunately) and now tries to find a job. Her family and friends fix her up with a new boyfriend, Martin who is a poet, who then fixes her up with a job in advertising. But her new boss, Eliza, fancies Martin. However she agrees to hold off providing Rosie does a bit of industrial espionage. Meanwhile, back in her Surrey village an Indian holy man has come to stay, at the invitation of the local vicar and Sunday school teacher. When she meets him, Rosemary is bowled over!

RELAX AND THINK OF AFRICA
No relaxation for readers - this romp is nonstop action! Martin's thrown her over and to forget him, she (by accident almost) enters and wins a dance competition. This entitles her to enter the grand final at Brighton for which there is a huge cash prize. Rosemary wants to win this money to save a crucial irrigation project in Sub-Saharan Africa which will save the lives of thousands of children. The project organised by her father, who is accountant to a City of London charity, is about to fall through for lack of funds. However a militant Women's Liberation group gets to hear and they want the money too. They are prepared to stoop to all sorts of underhand tactics to win . . . In the second half, Rosemary and two other finalists join forces to found a pop group - Jam Roll. All goes well until Rosemary gets kidnapped . . .

Progress
'College Stars' has been printed in Malaysia and the other two are in preparation over there. When all are ready, they'll be shipped over. Current ETA is February 2008.
Early in 2008 work will start on 'Rosie, Kathie and the Disappearing Body', 'All for Anna' and 'Rosemary and the Spider Man'. Whiterose Press hopes to have these three new titles available - making a total of 9 Rosie books and a ratio of 9/28 = 0.32, WE'RE GETTING THERE! - before Christmas 2008 (shouldn't say that - tempting fate. . .)
